1.  Networking and new business contacts to increase your visibility in the community and to help your business grow.

  • Ribbon cutting and ground breaking events for your business will be forwarded to local papers, displayed on our website, and emailed to our members via our e-newsletter.
  • Searchable member directory on Chamber website to display member's products, services, specials, and contact information.
  • An opportunity to be nominated as the spotlight business of the month.  The spotlight business of the month is promoted on the Chamber website and monthly e-newsletter.
  • Monthly Chamber meetings at breakfast or lunch provide a great networking and marketing opportunity. Guest speakers are invited. Current and new members may make short presentations. Meet new business associates and reconnect with long-time friends. Chamber meetings are held the first Thursday of every month either at a member's restaurant for breakfast from 8:30 am to 10 am or at the Los Vecinos Community Center from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm. Breakfast or Lunch is provided for members at a cost of $10.
  • Monthly Board meetings are held every month.
  • Chamber Networking Mixers held periodically.

2.  Referrals and other opportunities to promote your business.

  • Membership Directory listing on the Chamber’s website www.EastMountainChamber.com.  Able to list member and community specials.

  • Information Packet advertising – containing your business information sent to new East Mountain arrivals in response to inquiries about the area

  • Ambassadors - promote the Chamber and local business by attending ribbon cuttings, ground breakings, and mixers. Ambassadors meet monthly to discuss ways to better reach the community and support local business. Be a part of this dynamic group of local professionals in welcoming businesses and new chamber members to the area.
  • Special advertising opportunities are also available (see Levels of Membership).

3.  Access to key business, community and government leaders.

  • The East Mountain Chamber coordinates with businesses, Bernalillo County and New Mexico government officials to host key business, community and government leaders as guest speakers at monthly and special chamber events so members can have access to decision makers. 
  • Liaison with other Chambers and Associations.

4.  Government advocacy for business and for East Mountain Communities.

  • The East Mountain Chamber advocates for members to businesses, Bernalillo County and New Mexico government officials, and keeps members informed of legislation that can impact how business is done. Together we can do more and be a united voice.  Tell us what you need!
  • East Mountain Celebration – an annual celebration held in conjunction with Bernalillo County Parks and Recreation Department

5.  Informative programs with news you can use.

  • The East Mountain Chamber invite key businesses, Bernalillo County and New Mexico government officials to provide education and training relevant to small and medium sized businesses at monthly and special chamber events so members can be educated and kept informed.
